Purolator launching innovative Open Verify returns solution to help combat fraud
This New returns service will provide customers with instant refunds and helps merchants combat fraud
TORONTO, ON, January 17, 2025 – ReverseLogix, a Purolator announced today it will launch Open Verify: an innovative returns solution to help businesses combat fraud.
Using the purpose-built, end-to-end returns management system from technology partner ReverseLogix, this new solution, launching in February, will streamline and add some safeguards to the returns process for both merchants and customers.
Returns fraud is a prevalent issue in Canada, with the Retail Council of Canada reporting a 22 per cent increase between 2020 and 2022. According to the National Retail Federation, in 2023 it was estimated the amount of fraud accounts for 13.7 per cent of total returns and costs retailers $101B in the US alone.
